17 th century entirely restored “Maison de Maitre” on a 2,5 acres enclosed park
planted with century-old trees, fruit-trees, surrounded by peacocks and chickens,
just a few steps to the village of Mussidan and all the services and shops.

This character house can sleep from 9 to 11 persons.

4 double bedrooms, 2 with open fireplace, 1 single bedroom,
1 bathroom upstairs with shower, large bath, toilet and 2 washbasins.

A luxurious guesthouse with a double bed bedroom,
sitting room with open fireplace and a shower-room, toilet and washbasin.

This “Maison de Maitre” is for most of the year our family-house
and it guarantees you a perfectly relaxing holiday.

Ground Floor

The front door opens into a reception hall, toilet, and jukebox.

Living room with open fireplace, music-centre, small library, TV-room with DVD, Play-station, video, satellite TV.	Dining-room with open fireplace, large table and exclusive china with plenty of cupboards etc.
Lounge with open fireplace and a piano, French doors leading out into the garden	The kitchen area is spacious and very well equipped with a wood-burner, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery.

UPSTAIRS

There are 3 large double bedrooms, 2 with open fireplace.

1 bedroom with a large single bed.

Pillows, duvets and all bedding are provided and laundered every two weeks.
There are enough bath and hand towels for each guest. Pool-towels included

OUTSIDE

LOCATION

The town of Mussidan is 2 minutes drive away with its lively Saturday market
where local farmers are selling their own products.

Here you will find 3 large supermarkets (open Sunday-morning too) banks, Post-Office,
a wide choice of restaurants, petrol station as well as a Tourist Information Office.

There is an English speaking Doctor here as well as a Dentist and a Pharmacy.

Mussidan is ideally situated for sporting activities, tennis, and swimming.
There are some famous lakes where you can hire canoes, pedaloes
and go for cycling, walking, horse riding.

A little away, you can visit the vineyards of Bergerac, Monbazillac, St.Emilion, Pomerol the famous distilleries of Cognac, the shops of Bordeaux, boat trips along the Dordogne River or the l’Isle. Perigueux offers you two thousand years of history made up of thirty-nine listed buildings or historical monuments like the Byzantine cathedral of Saint Front, which is part of the world heritage of Unesco Do not forget to taste the fabulous cooking heritage of the region, its market, and the most important one in the Perigord. Even Arcachon is a possibility, in 80 minutes you will be at the seaside.

INCLUDED

* Full use of the house, garden, pool, garage for 2 cars and a carport for 1 car.
* Bedding, towels, and pool-towels are included.
* Housekeeping-lady for 4-hours a week.

TERMS

* Changeover day is saturday.
* The house will be ready for your arrival, with beds made at 4 p.m.
* Departure day by 11 a.m.
* A 25% NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required at the time of booking.
* The balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival.
* A € 300 damages deposit payable on arrival.
